Yahshua Robinson Obituary: On August 31, 2023, at Canyon Lake Middle School in Lake Elsinore, California, a 12-year-old kid named Yahshua Robinson passed away after falling during his gym class.

His family and friends, who are also advocating for justice, are grieving his passing, which they believe was due to his gym teacher’s negligence and the extreme heat that day.

Here are some facts and details

Californian 12-year-old boy dies in P.E class. The gym teacher made him run in the heat for forgetting gym clothes.

12-year-old, Yahshua Robinson, collapsed during P.E. at Canyon Lake Middle School in California on Tuesday. Despite a swift medical response, Yahshua died from cardiac arrest at a nearby hospital.

His aunt has since publicly claimed he was made to run on the field in sweltering heat due to not having proper clothing. She went on to say he told teachers he didn’t feel well and asked (begged) for a drink before telling fellow students he couldn’t breathe.

This is a sad and senseless death. What are your thoughts? Is it acceptable to punish a child with physical exercise at school?

I’ll tell you my educated opinion, My son had 2 heart defects at age 12, and they made him run, I sued the school and won mediation. I asked for no money, just unpaid mandatory sensitivity training for all staff. My son could’ve passed away just like this poor child. Luckily, my son had a successful, very long, heart surgery to fix the cardiac defects.

My thoughts are with this boy’s family. That school is definitely facing a huge lawsuit.

Yahshua Robinson, a 12-year-old student at Lake Middle School in Lake Elsinore, California, tragically collapsed and died during a gym class in extreme heat. According to reports, Yahshua had worn the wrong clothes to gym class and was allegedly forced to run despite the scorching weather. Students in his class claimed he had been begging for water.

As temperatures in Lake Elsinore soared to 97 degrees, Yahshua’s condition deteriorated while running under the intense California sun. He complained of feeling ill, stating that he couldn’t breathe, before becoming unresponsive. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but Yahshua was pronounced dead at Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta.

Yahshua’s family is demanding answers, questioning why a child not dressed for gym class was made to run in such conditions. His aunt revealed that Yahshua’s mother, a gym teacher in a neighboring district, had warned school officials about the heat on the same day.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident, and the Lake Elsinore Unified School District expressed their condolences. Yahshua’s death occurred at the beginning of the new school year, leaving his family and community in shock.
