Who was William Bryan Jennings Jr.?
Bill graduated from Central High School in 1947. He was a gifted baseball player, pitching a no-hitter during his junior year. He was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, East Brainerd Baptist Church, and Woodland Park Baptist Church. He served in the Naval Reserve and was on active duty during the Korean War.
A journeyman electrician by trade, he was a member of IBEW Local 175. He was employed by Lawson Electric for 34 years, also working closely with the EPB of Chattanooga, where he was recognized as their first Honorary Employee.
