Wendy Dameier Obituary: Pearl City High School Alumna Wendy Dameier of Lena, Illinois has sadly passed away. She died after a tragic accident on Monday 13th November 2023 leaving family and friends devastated. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that says “I sit here and still can’t believe I have to type this but here it goes… my sister, Wendy Dameier, was in a car accident tonight and has passed away. It all seems so unreal. She was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all of us”.
How did the accident happen?
According to information released, at approximately 6:12 p.m., personnel from the Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office promptly responded to a reported two-vehicle traffic collision with injuries in the rural area of E. Angle Rd. and N. Afolkey Rd. in Dakota. According to the preliminary investigation findings, a silver 2011 Ford Fiesta driven by Wendy Williams, 55, from Lena, was heading northbound on N. Afolkey Rd. It veered across the center of the roadway, resulting in a head-on collision with a southbound black 2005 Honda Pilot.
The investigation into the cause of the traffic crash is ongoing, and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, 2023. The Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office extends gratitude for the assistance provided by the Cedarville Fire Protection District, Leamon’s Ambulance Service, Tri-District Emergency Ambulance Service, the Stephenson County Coroner’s Office, and the Illinois State Police Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit in managing this incident.

Wendy Dameier attended Pearl City High School where she graduated in 1986 and proceeded to study at Rockford Business College where she earned a Associate Degree in 1989. He was a former Estimating Coordinator at State Farm from July 1990 to July 1999.
