UTC Student Death: 1 found dead in an on-campus residence

UTC Student Death: A University of Tennessee at Chattanooga student passed away on Tuesday, November 7, afternoon in an on-campus residence.
There is no suspicion of foul play, and we will not release the name of the student to protect the privacy of the family and friends who are directly impacted by this loss.
The Office of the Dean of Students (ODOS) has already been in contact with the student’s family, and we are in the process of contacting students and employees known to be directly impacted. The University’s CARE Team (www.utc.edu/care) has been activated and will respond accordingly.
