Trevor Freeman pursued his higher education at the University of Lethbridge from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Sculpting. Following his academic journey, he delved into the professional world, commencing his career as the Executive Director at the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth. Over 5 years and 5 months, from November 2001 to March 2007, he shouldered the responsibilities of overseeing the entire spectrum of the organization’s management.
