Travis Stimeling Obituary: Travis Stimeling, the professor of musicology and coordinator of programs in Appalachian music and Appalachian studies at West Virginia University has died. Travis Stimeling was announced dead today, Wednesday, the 15th of November 2023 by local media on Facebook. No cause of death was reported. Thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
