Who was Terry, Jerry Lebron?
Jerry was born on Sept. 19, 1944, to the late Charlie and Dovie Mae Terry in Chattanooga. Jerry attended Howard High School and later in life went on to receive his Doctorate of Theology from Covington Theological Seminary where he also worked as a professor for many students. Jerry faithfully pastored Chattanooga’s oldest black church, St. James Missionary Baptist Church for the past 35 years where he walked in his purpose by helping individuals and families who crossed his path to understanding the available salvation found only in Christ Jesus.
