Sotir Markoff Obituary: Buckeystown, MD died after car accident

Sotir Markoff Car Accident Death: Deputies from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) responded to a call for service near the intersection of Buckeystown Pike (Route 85) and Executive Way on Oct. 18 at approximately 1:36 p.m. for a reported two-vehicle collision with a serious injury. One person died as a consequence of the incident, while another is being treated in a trauma facility for critical injuries.

Sotir Markoff, 20, of Buckeystown, Maryland, was carried by EMS to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he eventually died from his injuries. All next-of-kin notifications were made by FCSO deputies.
