Shooting in Crestline, California, 2 people seriously injured in shooting at Sleepy Hollow Hotel

Shooting in Crestline, CA – Multiple shootings occurred at the Crestline Sleepy Hollow Hotel, located at 24033 Lake Dr, Crestline, including possible shootings and attacks on multiple people, followed by a roadblock scene. At approximately 2:45 a.m., CHP and SBSO received multiple reports of shots fired at the Sleepy Hollow Inn. Soon after, reports emerged that two Hispanic men were yelling at each other and possibly flashing weapons as they strolled down the street.

When law enforcement and fire personnel arrived on scene, a victim was found in critical condition in a motel room and was immediately rescued. A second victim was found hundreds of yards away on the ground, bleeding profusely and suffering severe head injuries. They also transported the victim. Requests for air rescue were denied due to possible fog.

Law enforcement quickly identified others at large. A suspect appears to be locked in a room at the Sleepy Hollow Motel, and CHP and SBSO are searching for another vehicle. Currently, the Sleepy Hollow Motel is surrounded by law enforcement officers, who have also evacuated the building and asked the suspect to surrender. This scene is currently being processed.
