Sean Hughes died by suicide, Bensalem shooting suspect found dead in Ohio

Sean Hughes Obituary: Following a chase involving the Marysville Police Department on Thursday afternoon, one suspect in a homicide case in Pennsylvania is dead and another is in custody. According to a statement from the Bensalem Township Police Department, Sean Hughes, 19, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after engaging in a car and foot pursuit with the Marysville Police Department.

The statement said that the three-person shooting in the village northeast of Philadelphia occurred in a gray Hyundai Elantra that the Marysville Police Department discovered to have been stolen from Bristol Township, Pennsylvania. Even after stopping the Hyundai with stop sticks, the driver would not stop, according to Marysville police who attempted to pull over the vehicle. Eventually, the driver—later identified as Hughes—came to a stop next to Bear Swamp Road.
