Samantha Peeler Obituary: Samantha Peeler has sadly passed away. She died on Monday 15th May 2023 in a deadly three-vehicle accident on US 501. She was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the information provided by Horry County Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy, Samantha Peeler, age 23, who was a front-seat passenger in one of the automobiles, passed away at the scene of the accident. She hailed from the town of Gaffney. According to Master Trooper Gary Miller, an investigation into the accident that occurred at 4:15 p.m. on U.S. 501 near Pee Dee Road was conducted by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Surviving in addition to her parents is a brother, Jacob Peeler of the home; a sister, Leslie Stanford (J.T.) of Gaffney; paternal grandparents, Butch & Nita Cobb of Gaffney; special nephews, Jaden Thomas Stanford and Hunter Wayne Stanford; her boyfriend, Hunter Gibson of Blacksburg; special friends, Carly Goble, Marissa Turner, Kayla Peeler Davis, Madisyn McCullough, Katherine Cooper, Hunter Bright, Craig Patterson, and Austin Goode. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Margie Cobb, Herbert “Rock” Peeler, and Brenda Hughey.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Rock Solid Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Reverend Holden Poole, Reverend Chuck Thornton, and Reverend Ray Glist officiating. Interment will be on the family property, 276 Lake Cherokee Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.
