Ryan Jacob Obituary, Cause of Death: Ryan O’Hara, PA-C, was born in North Carolina. He was born in Asheboro, North Carolina, where he still lives. Ryan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an undergraduate, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and exercise science and a minor in coaching education. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2016 and then went on to attend Wake Forest School of Medicine’s PA fellowship program, graduating in 2018. Since graduation, he has been working in the Emergency Department at High Point Medical Center.
Ryan is a student member of NCAPA and has been a member since beginning his PA practice. Being involved in PA advocacy, especially at the state level, is important to him, and Ryan knew that if he wanted to continue to advance the PA career in North Carolina, he needed to get involved and support NCAPA. He believes that “many decisions regarding NC PAs are made at the state level. As PAs, we need to support our profession in NC so that NC can continue to be a great place to practice PA.
