According to his sister Honeysuckle, who told the story on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in 2014, Weeks’ first screen appearance was for a Devon Custard advertisement when he was six years old, which ended abruptly when Rollo became ill while eating the sponsor’s product.
Weeks made his film debut as a child actor in The Little Vampire (2000), directed by Uli Edel, where he played vampire Rudolph Sackville-Bagg, earning him a Young Artist Award nomination.
He also played the young George, Duke of Kent in Stephen Poliakoff’s The Lost Prince (filmed in 2002 and released in 2003), a film about the disabled Prince John. This was followed by appearances in Girl With a Pearl Earring (2003) and The Queen of Sheba’s Pearls (2005). (2004).
His second appearance as a title character was as Scipio in The Thief Lord (2006), a film directed by Richard Claus based on Cornelia Funke’s novel The Thief Lord. Weeks has also appeared as Lord Louis Wilton in Berkeley Square (1998) and Joseph in Goggle Eyes (1993).
In 2009, he played the character, Guido, in Chéri and appeared in the second part of the Shark Week special Blood in the Water. In 2010, he starred as Jacob in Booked Out, a film about the lives of characters living in an aging block of flats.
Weeks was reported to be part of “a dynamic trio of young hospitality industry insiders” who opened Fancy Funkin Chicken in Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, in 2016. The restaurant closed permanently in 2020.
