Who was Richard Gow?
Rich was the man who helped lead me back to Jesus in 1997 and helped me get back on the right path as a troubled young adult. I was 21 years old. One cold November evening in Vestal New York in 1997, I was done with life and felt condemned at myself for the wrong choices I had made in life. I was essentially running from God and living a very backslidden life.
I was smoking, cussing, sleeping around, and I had a girlfriend living with me at the time. I knew in my heart what I was doing was wrong but I did not know how to stop. I had so much pain in my heart because of the choices I had made, and the fact that my parents were divorced, and I had asthma, and I dropped out of 9th grade, and I could not hold a job down, and…. you get the point. Ultimately, I was done with my wrong choices and I felt like a complete failure.
