MTSU shooting: Man dies by suicide at Middle Tennessee State University Peck Hall

MTSU Shooting Investigations – Law enforcement agencies at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) are investigating a dead from an apparent suicide by shooting at the campus Wednesday. According to reports, a body was found at the Peck Hall Wednesday morning, Nov 1, 2023. According to reports, Middle Tennessee State University Police Department is investigating the sudden incident has ruled out murder as a possible cause.

Following the incident, a heavy police presence is currently at the Peck Hall located in the 537 Old Main Cir, Murfreesboro, TN. According to information’s posted by Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), classes has been cancelled until noon in Peck Hall as law enforcement agencies investigate the ongoing incident.

MTSU ALERT: Incident at Peck Hall; building will be closed until further notice. NO THREAT TO CAMPUS. Classes scheduled before noon in Peck Hall are canceled.
