Mikeya Ferguson Obituary: Cle’shai Perry and Mikeya Ferguson died after shooting

Mikeya Ferguson Obituary: DC Police have identified the two teen girls who died in a shooting on 7th Street last night as 19-year-old Mikeya Ferguson, of Southeast, DC, and 18-year-old Cle’shai Perry, of Northwest, DC. The shooting occurred on Friday, September 1, 2023, in the 1300 block of 7th Street, Northwest.

Members of the Third District arrived at the indicated area for the report of a shooting at around 11:56 pm Officers discovered three shooting victims when they arrived—two adult females and one young female.

DC Fire and EMS arrived in the area and transferred the victims to nearby hospitals for treatment. The two adult female victims were pronounced dead after all life-saving efforts failed. The victim, a young female, is in critical but stable condition.
