Michelle Asker and Ryan Asker Spokane WA Death, 2609 W Woodside Ave murder-suicide

Spokane Murder-Suicide: A mother, two children, and family pets were found dead at a residence at 2609 W Woodside Ave on Friday 17th November 2023. According to information released, authorities were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call from the husband who revealed that on his arrival he found his wife and their two children dead. On the arrival of Spokane Police Department officers, they confirmed the two children to be under the age of 12.

Investigation still ongoing

Additionally, deceased pets were found within the residence. The two children, formerly enrolled at Balboa Elementary School, were presently receiving homeschooling according to information. A statement was issued by the school principal saying “” It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of two former Balboa students. They were being currently homeschooled. We can’t share specifics about the incident right now, but many of our students, families, and staff are deeply impacted by this loss”.

Preliminary details suggest the possibility of a murder-suicide, with the mother identified as the suspected perpetrator. As of now, SPD has no other suspects in connection with the case. The identities of the mother and her children will be disclosed at a later date by the Spokane Medical Examiner’s Office.
