Matt Cornier Death – Blazing Visuals Graphic Design Extraordinaire Matt Cornier of Toms River, New Jersey has sadly passed away. He died on Wednesday 6th December 2023 at the age of 32 leaving family and friends devastated. He was confirmed dead throigh a Facebook post that says “It’s so crazy I’m actually writing this. Matt Cornier you are truly going to be missed. You had the most infectious smile and you could light up the darkest room. I’m going to miss all the laughs we have shared over the years”.
Matt Cornier Education and Career
Matt was an extraordinarily talented artist who had a strong interest in design. He graduated from Kean College-Ocean County College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. Having spent a significant amount of time designing, pondering, and investigating various design concepts, he eventually established the clothing line known as Syren in order to express his creative side. Matt, who lived his life by the motto “Live to Die Happy,” enthusiastically accepted this idea for its whole. At the moment, Matt was working as a Design Artist at Blazing Visuals in Point Pleasant. His adventure started in Belleville, New Jersey, and he temporarily lived in Bloomfield before moving to Point Pleasant.
However, he relocated to Toms River when he was just three years old. During his time as a student at Toms River High School East, Matt was an active participant in the sport of lacrosse and made significant contributions to the Toms River High School East football team, which went on to achieve an undefeated record. In addition to his accomplishments in the athletic world, Matt was also a devoted member of Boy Scout Troop 59. He achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 1, which is a testament to his dedication and pride in his achievements.

He is survived by his fiancée Danielle Bethencourt; his parents, June and Christian Cornier; two brothers, Peter and his wife Jennifer, and Christian; two sisters, Adrienne Quinones and Cara Cornier; grandparents Pasquale and Isabel Petracco; mother and father-in-law, Guillermo (Bill) and Roberta Bethencourt, sister-in-law Christina Bethencourt. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Joann Petracco and her wife Elaine Maino, Jacqueline Garrison and her husband Raymond and Janice Nolan; nieces and nephews, Adam Quinones, Sofia Cornier and Peter Cornier, Jr. Matt also leaves behind many family members and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Justin’s Roman Catholic Church, 975 Fischer Boulevard, Toms River.
