Marlene Crossman Obituary, Death: Amherst Theatre manager, Marlene Crossman has passed away suddenly. She was confirmed dead earlier the the week. According to reports reaching the public, she died after being murdered in her home in Sackville. She will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her during the course of her life.

According to reports, following her sudden death, her husband turned himself in. Following the news of her death, The Amherst Theatre went dark at 7 PM on Friday evening to pay tribute to Marlene and all she did for the patrons of the theatre community in our area.

Who was Marlene Crossman?

Marlene was a lover of the theatre. She was known as someone who always treated those around her well. At Amherst Theatre, Marlene was a leader, manager, and one of the greatest employees. She was a kind, loving, thoughtful, caring, and strong woman.

Marlene approached her work with the care and passion that one could only dream of and this was her disposition every day. Her vitality, her thoughtfulness, and every other aspect of her personality will be sorely missed. On the gloomiest of days, her smile had the power to brighten even the darkest of rooms.

A tele-remand hearing was held for Roger Crossman, 62, of Sackville, who was charged with the first-degree murder of his wife, Marlene Cheryl Crossman. The hearing took place at the Moncton Provincial Court. He was ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation over the course of thirty days, and he was remanded into detention as a result. The next time he is expected in court is on November 9, 2023, at 1:30 in the afternoon.
