Mark Dwayne Obituary, Death – Mark Dwayne McDonald, 61, a Cold War veteran who served on submarines, died suddenly on October 5, 2023, at Berkeley Medical Center. He is a resident of Inwood, West Virginia. Mark McDonald was born in Keyser, West Virginia, to Dewey R. McDonald and Lena M. McDonald.
He is survived by his wife and life partner of 16 years, Tracie Weaver of Inwood; his daughter, Amanda (Jeffrey) Thomas; and grandchildren, Kristina Sandford, Jason Sandford and Emma Thomas, all of Hog, FL; Sand City; his brother Steven McDonald of Levels; his sister Cindy (John) Thomas of Cumberland, MD; and several cousins; and one niece and nephew; Except for his fellow K-9 and best friend Auggie.
