Who was Marilyn Katz?

Marilyn Katz was a Partner at Democracy Partners. She also served as the President at MK Communications and she worked at Pri. She was a Former Director/Producer/Writer at Goldshall Films. She studied Political Sciences at Tulane University. She attended Lake View High School, in Chicago, Illinois where she completed her secondary education.

She Studied Sociology at Northwestern University and was a resident of Chicago, Illinois where she lived until her time of death. She is a co-author on three books, has written a large number of articles and essays, and has created and directed a large number of films and videos that are both informative and entertaining.

Since she was a student, Marilyn has been an activist. She has gone on to establish and direct feminist groups, and she has been engaged in a variety of progressive nonprofit organizations, including APN and J Street. The demise of her represents a significant setback for our cause.
