Mareeba Car Accident: Karabah man dies after a single-vehicle car crash in Mareeba.
According to police, preliminary investigations revealed a black 2001 Ford Mustang was traveling in a south-westerly direction along the Kennedy Highway around 500 meters west of Davies Creek Road when it left the road and rolled around 12:30 p.m.
A passing motorist came across the crash and raised the alarm, providing first aid to the man.
The driver and sole occupant of the mustang, a 63-year-old Karabakh (New South Wales) man died at the scene from his injuries, police said.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dashcam vision of the crash or the moments leading up to it to come forward.
