Man killed after fall at Acrisure Stadium identified

At Acrisure Stadium on Sunday afternoon, one individual died after slipping and falling from an escalator.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, a man who had fallen inside the stadium was taken to the hospital in severe condition. The man later passed away from his wounds.

The victim was named as Dalton Ryan Keane, 27years old of Monaca by the medical examiner on Monday.

The call was received shortly before 4:30 p.m. following the Steelers’ defeat by the Jets, according to Allegheny County Dispatch.

The Pittsburgh Steelers claim, in a statement sent by spokesperson Burt Lauten on Sunday night, “We are aware of a tragic occurrence that took place within the arena tonight.

We are assisting the local authorities’ examination into the situation by collaborating with them.
The guest’s family is in our thoughts and prayers.”

On Monday morning, Action News 4 in Pittsburgh contacted a few members of Keane’s family.
They opted not to respond.

The circumstances prior to the tragedy are still unknown.
