Lundy Kiger Obituary: Fort Smith-born legislator died in Tulsa

Lundy Kiger Obituary: Former member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives Lundy Kiger of Poteau, Oklahoma has sadly passed away. He died on Monday 13th November 2023 after a deadly tractor accident that took place on Saturday in Tulsa surrounded by his beloved family at the age of 69. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “Our team is devastated this week to lose longtime friend, former client, and former legislator Lundy Kiger”.
Lundy Kiger Education and Career
Lundy Kiger attended Panama Public Schools where he graduated in 1972 and proceeded to study at Carl Albert State College in Poteau, Oklahoma where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in 1974. He later went to further at Northeastern State University at Tahlequah Oklahoma where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1976. In 1986, he earned a Master of School Administration and went on to receive a Standard Certificate in Administration in 1988. He went for Leadership Training at the Center for Executive Development at the University of Houston.
