As a result of a house fire that occurred early on Saturday morning in Loveland, one person was discovered to have passed away, and two others were injured.
At around 3:22 in the morning, firefighters received a call and responded to a residence located in the 3100 block of Butternut Drive. The fire was reported by a person at 911.
According to the police, there were three persons present inside the house when the fire broke out. One of the occupants was discovered to have passed away, while another other was sent to a hospital in Denver for treatment of severe burns.
According to the Loveland Police Department, which is cooperating in the investigation into how the fire started, the third person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. The investigation is currently underway.
Additionally, arson investigators from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office are present at the scene and providing assistance to the investigation.
