The Michigan State Police are presently looking into a deadly collision on M-6. As per the Michigan State Police Grand Rapids Post, officers were dispatched to a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on eastbound M-6 near Kraft around noon on Saturday.

According to the initial account, a man was outside his vehicle and in the central reservation when an eastbound vehicle skidded out of control, veering into the median and striking him. Authorities have identified the pedestrian as a 25-year-old man from Hastings who had reportedly stopped to aid a dog in the median while towing vehicles.
