Kemp ISD Accident, KHS student died following a deadly crash

Dear Kemp ISD Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of a loss within our Kemp ISD family. On Wednesday, November 15, the Kemp ISD Community experienced a life loss in a tragic accident. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the student’s family and friends, and all of the students and staff impacted by this heartbreaking and incomprehensible loss.

We continue to pray for the full and speedy recovery of additional KHS students involved in the accident and their families, as they navigate these uncertain circumstances. In this difficult time, we stand together as a community to offer our unwavering support, prayers, and condolences.

We understand the profound impact this has on our students and staff, and we are committed to providing the necessary resources and support for everyone affected. Counselors and support staff will be available at Kemp High School starting Thursday, November 16, to provide emotional support, guidance, and a safe space for processing these challenging emotions.

We encourage any student or staff member in need of assistance to reach out.
