Kathy Wilbur Death – Michigan State University’s senior vice president for government relations Kathleen Wilbur who was affectionately known as Kathy has sadly passed away. She died leaving those who knew her devastated. She was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that says “I am saddened by the news of Kathy Wilbur’s passing. Kathy was the first woman to lead three different state departments and most recently served as VP of Government Relations for Michigan State University”.
Kathy Wilbur Career
Wilbur’s illustrious career includes notable achievements at Central Michigan University, where she served and later became the only woman to direct three State of Michigan departments. Additionally, she made significant contributions as a member of the MSU Board of Trustees. Before assuming her role at MSU, Wilbur joined Central Michigan University in 2002 as the vice president for government and external relations. During her tenure, she showcased her leadership abilities by taking on the roles of interim president for a year and subsequently serving as the vice president for development and external relations.
