Justin Wendling & Gina Bryant killed in a murder-suicide

Justin Wendling of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Gina Bryant have been identified as the victims of a murder-suicide in LaSalle.

Gina Bryant who had been reported missing in Michigan was found dead near the full pumps with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Justin was found dead with self-inflicted injuries in the vehicle.

According to reports, Law enforcement was dispatched to the Flying J Truck Stop in LaSalle At around 7:43 p.m. on Thursday for a report of a woman who had been shot. It appears to be tied to a domestic incident, according to Detective Sergeant Brian Camenisch of the LaSalle Police Department.

Officers were able to find the suspicious car in Bettendorf at a rest area along Interstate 80 at approximately 11:45 p.m., according to Camenisch. They heard a gunshot as they approached, and as they got closer, they found the suspect dead inside the vehicle.
