Julie Scott of Edmonton, Alberta passed away, according to an online obituary on Saturday, January 29, 2022. However, her cause of death was not disclosed.
“Julie Scott, you are sunshine. Heaven has gained an angel and the world has dimmed your beautiful soul,” Shelley Bramhoff Sikorsky announced via a Facebook post. “We’ll take care of Ron and the kids for you. Jules rest in heaven. Please everyone, this is so tragic, pray for Ron and their beautiful children Brooke and Jesse.”

For the past 25 years, Scott has taught summer Orff Schulwerk courses for adults at eight universities and has taught for the Texas Association of Music Educators, the National Association for Music Education, the American Orff-Schulwerk Society , organizes American Kodály Educators, State Music Educators Association, Orff Chapters, and school districts across the U.S.
In addition, she has presented at international music conferences and teaching venues in Germany, Scotland, Greece, Australia, China, Italy, and Thailand speech. Scott is the past president of the Orff-Schulwerk Society of America and the founder/director of the SMU Music Educator Symposium.
