Juan Del-cid Obituary: A 41-year-old motorcyclist who died in a crash on Interstate 95 in Port St. Lucie early Friday has been unofficially identified as Juan Del-cid of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Crosstown Parkway at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Friday, September 22.

The motorcyclist who was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle rear-ended a 2023 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 38-year-old Miami man, and was killed, the FHP said in a news release.

All southbound lanes of I-95 were shut down for hours before it was later opened.

An investigation is ongoing.
