Who was John Louis Chambers?
John was born in Athens, Al. to the late Ernest Howell and Annie Laurie Dillard Chambers. He was a proud Eagle Scout and a 1957 graduate of Athens High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in math and physics from the now University of North Alabama. John’s graduate studies included work in meteorology at the University of Oklahoma and he earned a master’s degree in computer science from Alabama A & M University.
