He passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the age of 74, following a courageous battle with cancer. His death was confirmed via a post that read “Jim Walsh passed away Thursday night. Jim was my mentor for the past 23 years. He was a visionary in business, law, development, and more. He and his best friend Van G Miller is the co-founder of VGM and the two of them are not only having a great time but building an amazing business”.

Over the subsequent 24 years, JSA Development has undergone a profound evolution, from what was initially seen as a personal pursuit to the renowned corporate entity it is today. Throughout its history, JSA Development has successfully completed more than 22 historic restoration projects, revitalizing once-neglected or derelict buildings into lasting landmarks for the next century.
