Jason Layman’s suicide: Jason Layman passed away after the shooting incident that happened in Farnell Middle School on Friday, October 20, 2023.

52-year-old Jason Layman died by suicide during the Farnell middle school shooting on 13912 Nine Eagles Dr, Tampa, FL 33626, United States.

According to the information presented at a news conference by the Sheriff, the incident took place when youngsters attending Farnell Middle School to take part in the early start program (which begins at 6:30 in the morning) were arriving.

A “disgruntled” ex-husband of a Florida school teacher shot and killed himself in front of the rear entrance to Farnell Middle School as dozens of students were arriving for an early start program.

He stated that there were 34 students present during the time of the incident.
