Jacob Hahn and Savannah Harding Death – Two people were killed in a terrible collision that occurred near the intersection of US 20 (Fremont Pike) and Lemoyne Road in Troy Township at 6:58 p.m. on Saturday 9th December 2023. They were identified as Jacob Hahn of Woodville, Ohio and Savannah Harding. According to information, the accident involved three vehicles, A red 2018 Kia Soul, a gray 2016 Ford Fusion, and a gray 2019 Dodge Journey.
How did the accident happen?
According to the findings of the inquiry, the Kia Soul was heading westbound at a speed that was much higher than the speed at which it collided with the rear of the Ford Fusion that was traveling westbound. The incident led the Ford Fusion to spin across the center line of the road, and it eventually drifted sideways into the eastbound lane, where it was hit by the Dodge Journey that was traveling in the other direction. Jacob was the driver of the Ford and while Savannah was the passenger.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene. Samantha Hammons, who resides in Toledo, was the one who drove the Kia Soul. The injuries she sustained were very mild, and she was sent to Mercy St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo, from which she was eventually discharged. Heather Hammons and Asia Hammons, who were both passengers in the Kia’s rear seat, were fortunate enough to avoid having any injuries.
Zachery Bollinger was the driver of the Dodge Journey, and Megan Jock and Gabriella Bollinger, both of whom were from Clyde, were passengers in the vehicle. They were sent to Mercy St. Vincent Toledo Hospital for treatment of their minor injuries, which were conveyed there. The Lake Township Police Department, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Troy Township Fire and Emergency Medical Services, the Pemberville Fire and Emergency Medical Services, the Lake Township Fire and Emergency Medical Services, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Ray’s Towing, Shipley’s Towing, and Frank’s Towing were among the organizations that gave help at the incident.
