Inna Deshkovich Obituary: According to police sources, a man who thought his mother was poisoning him is suspected of fatally stabbing her on Friday night inside her Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, home. Around 7:30 p.m., Inna Deshkovich, 52, was heard fighting by her downstairs neighbor, who subsequently witnessed her 30-year-old son hurriedly leaving the two-family house on 93rd Street off Ridge Boulevard, as per law enforcement and other sources.
According to the sources, the neighbor walked upstairs and found Deshkovich in her bedroom with a blood-splattered neck stab wound. The neighbor then dialed 911. At the scene, she was pronounced deceased. Sources claim that another 911 caller, identifying himself as a friend of the Deshkovich family, informed the dispatcher that the son had stabbed his mother in the neck because he believed she was poisoning him.
Just after midnight, the man was taken into custody outside his Fort Hamilton, neighboring residence, according to sources. The name of the suspect was not immediately released by the authorities.
