Heath Mahl Death – An accident involving a single car that occurred on Friday evening resulted in the death of a man from Attica, as reported by the Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Heath Mahl, 41, from Attica, was taken by the Seneca County Emergency Medical Services to Mercy Health in Tiffin after being transported from the scene. He succumbed to his wounds and died.

It was about 8:47 p.m. when the event occurred on County Road 35, which is located in Venice Township, Seneca County, and is located north of Township Road 44. Mahl was reportedly driving a GMC Acadia north on County Road 35 when he entered a curve, drove off the right side of the roadway, and collided with a fence. This information was provided by the Patrol Division. His path continued over an embankment, and he collided with a number of trees.

Alcohol is deemed to have had a role in this collision, and the Patrol reported that Mahl was wearing a seat belt for the accident. Through the services of Hess Towing and Recovery, the automobile was towed. In addition to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the Attica Fire Department, the Seneca County Emergency Medical Services, and Hess Towing and Recovery, the Ohio State Highway Patrol received assistance.
