Gymnastics Center Death: Melissa Deroba died in a car accident
Missy Deroba Obituary: Melissa “Missy” Deroba died following a multi-vehicle accident on Rt. 283 Tuesday morning. She was an alumnus of Millersville University, an avid camper of PA campgrounds, and a coach at the Gymnastics Center of Hershey for the past 25 years.

Mikalah Copenhaver created a fundraiser via GoFundMe to help the family cover funeral costs. Missy is survived by the long-term boyfriend and love of her life, John, her stunning and gifted daughter, Claire, and her three fur babies, Buddy, Ginger, and Morgan. She also leaves behind the love of her life, her dog, Morgan. Her family was not prepared for the hefty cost of a funeral, and as a result, we are reaching out to the community to get some assistance at this trying time.
They have established a target amount of $20,000 to pay for the funeral expenses. Donations that are received that are more than the costs associated with the funeral will be put toward funding Claire’s higher education.
