Galveston Shooting: 1 died, 5 hurt in Lone Star Rally

Galveston Shooting, League City, TX (November 3rd, 2023): League City Police Officers are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 800 block of W Galveston St which sent two victims to the hospital with injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
One victim has passed away and law enforcement agencies confirmed that five have been sent to the hospital for treatment. According to law enforcement agencies, the incident happened on the streets during the Lone Star Rally involving bikers. Locals on the scene alleged that the incident started as an altercation between bikers.
On Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, at approximately 10:58 p.m. the League City Police Department received a call from a resident who stated they heard multiple gunshots that came from the area of the 800 block of W Galveston St. Just prior to officers arriving on scene, the Webster Police Department contacted LCPD at approximately 11:02 p.m., saying they stopped a vehicle in their city with a man and woman who had gunshot wounds.
The man and woman said they had been shot in the 800 block of W Galveston St in League City by a suspect in an unknown vehicle. The two victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical treatment.
League City Officers arrived at W Galveston St and began searching the area for the suspect vehicle and any possible evidence. Officers also arrived at the hospital and will be speaking with the victims when possible.
