Frederick Douglass High School Lockdown, Fake active shooter report in Lexington

Lexington police officers were sent to Frederick Douglass High School Wednesday morning after a “swatting” call about an active shooter.
According to Fayette County Public Schools spokesperson Dia Davidson, a call was made to police about an active shooter at the school — and that this call is fake.
“There is no safety threat and no students are in danger. All FCPS schools are safe and have no threat issues,” Davidson said in a statement.
