Frank Weber Chicora Motorcycle Accident, Thursday crash on Route 422 in Butler County

In a tragic incident on Thursday, a fatal crash occurred on Route 422 in Butler County, claiming the life of a man. The crash involved a motorbike, adding to the severity of the incident.

All westbound lanes were closed between Exit PA 68 towards Jefferson Street and Exit PA 8 North towards Harrisville. The lanes were reopened shortly before 5:30 p.m.

According to Butler Township police, an incident occurred involving a motorcycle and a truck carrying an oversized load. The motorcycle was reportedly traveling in the westbound lanes following the truck’s collision with some wires.

In an attempt to steer clear of the wires, the motorcycle collided with the guard rail.

The has been unofficially identified as Frank Weber.

According to dispatchers, it has been reported that one individual was transported to the hospital from the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
