Cutsforth, the grandfather of the current owner, initiated a meat shop named “Cutsforth’s Market” in the heart of downtown Canby, featuring convenient lockers for the patrons. In 1946, Glenn Cutsforth, Frank’s father, acquired the business from his father and, along with his wife Elsie, expanded the offerings to include groceries, rebranding the store as “Cutsforth’s Grocery Store and Meat Market.”
