The victim has been identified as Ethan Soriano. According to reports, Ethan Soriano, a student-athlete at Cerritos High School passed away from a head injury suffered during basketball practice.

Cerritos High School student-athlete Ethan Soriano was involved in a tragic accident during basketball practice on November 4th. He was rushed to the hospital to receive medical treatment. Ethan was at UCI in the neuro-trauma ICU fighting for his life, with his family by his side. He was later pronounced dead from a head injury.
