Eric Gustafson Obituary: Iowa Man, Eric Killed After Wright County Motorcycle Accident

Eric Gustafson Obituary, Motorcycle Accident: Two people passed away following a collision Saturday afternoon in Wright County. The accident happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of 330th Street and Ida Avenue near Woolstock.

Patricia Krieger, 49, of Woolstock, was heading eastbound in a pickup truck on 330th Street, and Eric Gustafson, 52, of Thompson, was following her on a motorcycle.

According to the State Patrol, Gustafson attempted to pass Krieger just as she turned left onto Ida Avenue, and their vehicles collided. According to the State Patrol, Gustafson and his passenger, Mindy Chandler, 48, of Waukee, were killed in the crash. Krieger was unharmed.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Woolstock Fire Department, and Eagle Grove EMS all contributed to this accident.
