Dusty Street Obituary: Former KROQ-FM & Radio DJ died at 77

Dusty Street Obituary: Former KROQ-FM pioneer of Rock Jocks Dusty Street has sadly passed away on 22 October 2023 at the age of 77.
Dusty was one of the first female rock jocks on the west coast working at KMPX and KSAN in San Francisco from 1967 through 1978 before heading to Los Angeles where she held court in the evenings from 1979 through 1996 on KROQ.
She played a significant role in the documentary “San Francisco Sounds: A Place In Time,” offering insights into the ascent of Bay Area artists such as The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Sly and the Family Stone, Santana, CCR, and the Steve Miller Band, among others.
