He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that said “With great sadness, we must announce the unexpected passing of Louisville Metro Emergency Services Paramedic Don Scheer”. Don, a diligent and devoted individual, pursued his education at both Ballard High School and Moore High School before continuing his studies at Kentucky University. He commenced his professional journey as a Firefighter at Mount Washington Fire, where he served ardently for a commendable seven-year period from 2003 to 2010. Subsequently, he transitioned to a role at Air Evac Lifeteam, where his dedication remained unwavering over five years from 2010 to 2015.
