Derek Logsdon Obituary: Eli Lilly and Company Research Scientist Derek Logsdon of Indianapolis, Indiana has sadly passed away. He died on Sunday 5th November 2023 laving family, friend and colleagues devastated. He was conformed dead through a Facebook post that says “Devastation does not begin to describe how we feel. Our hearts are shredded. Last night, we lost our only son. Derek, 37, died suddenly at home in Indianapolis, leaving his wife, Amber, and three precious children (age 8, and twins age 5”).
Derek Logsdon Education and Career
According to his LinkedIn, Derek Logsdon pursued his academic journey at Evangel University from 2004 to 2008, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology. Subsequently, he continued his education at Indiana University School of Medicine, culminating in the attainment of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacology in 2018. During the initial stages of his career, Derek served as a Research Assistant at Children’s Mercy Hospital for a period of two years, spanning from 2008 to 2010.
