Dan Beattie Death – Daniel Royce Beattie, a resident of Audubon, Iowa, and former pastor of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, passed away tragically on Friday afternoon. He was 56 years old at the time of this publication. He was confirmed dead by the Iowa State Patrol in a statement released regarding a tragic motorcycle accident in Perry county. Dan Beattie’s family are yet to released any details to the public.

What was Dan Beattie’s cause of death?

A pickup truck and motorcycle collided on Friday afternoon in northwest Dallas County, west of Dawson, killing a guy from Audubon County. According to the Iowa State Patrol, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a 2017 Dodge RAM pickup driven by 64-year-old Gary Bugger of Boone attempted to turn left onto C Avenue, but instead put 56-year-old Daniel Royce Beattie of Audubon’s 2010 BMW motorcycle in the path of the oncoming vehicle.

In the crash, Beattie was thrown off his motorcycle. He died at the scene after landing in the south ditch. The Dallas and Guthrie County Sheriff’s Departments, as well as the Dallas County Medical Examiner, provided support to the State Patrol both on the site and during the investigation.

Who was Dan Beattie?

Daniel Royce Beattie was a resident of Audubon, Iowa, and former pastor of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. Daniel and his former wife Charlene Beattie were married in 1989. The couple was blessed with four children during the marriage. Dan received a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in divinity during the marriage. He was ordained as a minister in 1996 and has worked in that occupation on and off.

Charlene has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication, which she received during the marriage. In the year of the divorce, however, Daniel worked for a landscaping company.
