Colin Reedy Car Accident: Firefighter from Exton, PA died

Colin Reedy Car Accident: Colin Reedy, a firefighter from Exton, Pennsylvania, has passed away in a motor vehicle accident in Chester County. He was 25 years old. The fatal crash happened on Friday, October 20, 2023.

We regret to pass on from the West Whiteland Fire Company of Exton, PA (outside of Philly in Chester County) the Line of line-of-duty death of Probationary Firefighter Collin Reedy (26). Colin and Probationary Firefighter Emily Gindele (24) were responding to the station in response to an alarm during a heavy downpour.

Their vehicle left the roadway, PA Rt 100, and struck a tree. Colin succumbed to his injuries at the scene and Emily was transported to the Paoli Memorial Trauma Center where she underwent emergency surgery and is listed in critical but stable condition.

Colin Reedy‘s Obituary and Funeral Arrangements will be released by the Family members.
