Chad Hinckley Death: Lancaster MA, Former Sterling DPW employee allegedly died by suicide

Chad Hinckley Obituary, Cause Of Death: Chad Daniel Hinckley, a native of Lancaster, Massachusetts, and a 20202 graduate of Nashoba Regional High School passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was 21 years old at the time of his death. He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “No words can describe how heartbroken we all are. We will love and miss you forever Chad.” The circumstances surrounding his cause of death are yet to be made public.

Who was Chad Hinckley?

On May 17, 2002, Chad Daniel Hinckley was born into the loving arms of Daniel J. Hinckley, Jr. and Robin (Schartner) Hinckley. Chad benefited from lifelong friendships he developed on the youth baseball, soccer, and football grounds during his upbringing and education in Lancaster. As a varsity football player, he graduated from Nashoba Regional High School in the class of 2020.

He then pursued his education at Mississippi State University, where he served as an equipment staff member for the football team. Chad has been employed by Sterling DPW, Berlin Country Club, and Cyprian Keyes Golf Course. Most recently, he was a caretaker for Gemini Dogs in Littleton. Whether he was fishing, playing golf, riding waves at the beach, or strolling his dogs, Chad could always find happiness outside.

Chad was a hard competitor and a strong-willed individual, but he was also a loyal friend who loved to dance, sing loudly in the shower, and always saw the best in others. His step-siblings, Kamryn Mills and Revson Mills, as well as his siblings, Gina Hinckley and Derek Hinckley, all adored and loved him. Chad cherished his family and friends dearly and looked up to his brother and sister.

Calling hours will be held from 9 until 11 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a graveside service to follow at 11:30 AM at Eastwood Cemetery, Lancaster.
